apparently the officer THOUGHT he’d been trained to tase a suspect NINE times AFTER he’d been brought into custody (handcuffed).

the “something” that “happened” with his body that sent him into cardiac arrest was the 50,000 volts of electricity that the officer hit him with over and over and over and over and over and over and over (now he’s not moving) and over and over.

they’re breeding real rocket scientists down there in winnfield, no? a police chief that can’t formulate a sentence and an officer who thought that he’d been trained to tase the ever-living shit out of a suspect, twice after he’d apparently died.

oh, what a week. i discovered twitter, jott, sandy, and “rediscovered” son volt, ben harper, todd snider & other music of my misspent 20’s. as a result, the nano’s running light these days on number of artists, so there might not be much variation in the mix.

the past six weeks have been full of personal turmoil, struggle, redemption and trusting in God. part of that is due to business struggle & strife (approx 1/3 of my june revenue was spent on facility repairs & maintenance). i’ve been taking lots of deep breaths…

coolest idea ever.

i just found out about two services/applications that apparently will save me time, make me more efficient, and might just reverse the aging process.

jott is a voice to email service (that’s free) that allows you to create to do lists, send text messages, blog, and email contacts – just to name a few. i can already think of eleventy hundred uses for it.

sandy is a virtual personal assistant. she’s easy to use, friendly, and even a little foxy (for a cartoon). the best part about sandy? apparently she talks to jott.

i’m gonna play around with these two gadgets (can you call them gadgets if there’s no software or physical form?) for a few days and report back to you on the impact they’ve had on my life.

i had the best weekend ever. it started as the worst weekend ever. thought it would be catastrophic. “season ending injury” type bad. the “source” of the badness isn’t completely fixed, and i’m still dealing with the ramifications – playing through pain – but things are looking good for a return to fine form. (sorry for the veiled analogy. it’s a personal thing, and i don’t feel like sharing).
